Woodford County Arrests in 24 Hours
The county's official same-day tool is the Woodford JailTracker application, linked from the county's Detention Center page. Once it loads, pick Current Only. That filter shows the current-custody slice. It is not a clock-bounded list of everyone arrested over the last 24 hours. A person booked in Versailles, Midway, or anywhere else in the county can still be waiting for intake data to reach the public view.
The facility posts no timing rules for new rows. There is no stated hourly refresh, no weekend processing promise, no photo schedule, and no rule for when a released person drops off the list. A result checked at 9:00 a.m. is only a snapshot. Note the time you checked. Search the exact name, then compare the booking number, book date, facility, and charge detail. An empty result never means no arrest happened.
Same-day limit. Current Only is the nearest official view of a fresh booking, not a complete 24-hour feed. For a custody question, call the Woodford County Detention Center at 859-873-3196.
How to Check Who Was Arrested Today
Two pages work together here. The stable county page gives context, and the dynamic JailTracker page runs the actual search. The application uses a CAPTCHA and may show a loading shell before its controls appear. A just-processed arrest can stay absent while officers and booking staff finish the record. The county page lists the Woodford County Detention Center. Its address is 204 Beasley Drive. That sits in Versailles, Kentucky 40383.
- Open the official Detention Center page and select its inmate-list link.
- Choose Current Only, then enter the first name, last name, or both.
- Complete the CAPTCHA and inspect each possible match.
- Compare full name, book date, facility, booking or jacket number, charges, bond, and any hold.
- Record the search time. If the question concerns a later release, return to Released and choose 7 Days or 30 Days.
The Woodford County recent-arrests hub covers record requests, court follow-through, and how county, state, and federal custody differ. For a person-specific status check and alerts, use VINELink Inmate Check instead. It does not supply booking photos.
What the Daily Arrest View Shows
The grid typically lists the person's last, first, and middle name, book date, release date when one applies, booking number, jacket, facility, and an expansion control. Open an individual record and you may find case, charge, hold, court, and bond fields plus an Offender Image area. The facility controls the display and can change it at any time.
| Field or control | What it can tell you | What it cannot prove |
|---|---|---|
| Book date | When the jail record says intake occurred. | The exact arrest time or when the row became public. |
| Arrest date and agency | May appear in charge detail. | That the charge was proven or that the agency is the current custodian. |
| Bond and court date | Processing information shown in the record. | That release will happen at a set hour or that the case is finished. |
| Offender Image | A possible facility-supplied image on the individual record. | That every booking has a public photo or that a copied photo is accurate. |
| Hold | Another agency or custody instruction may be listed. | Guilt, an executable warrant, or immigration status. |
Charges listed at booking can be amended, dismissed, merged, resolved by plea, or left pending, so the status label is not necessarily a final court outcome. Always match identity against the full official entry. A similar name alone is not enough.
If No Same-Day Arrest View Appears
Woodford County offers no separate same-day booking feed beyond Current Only. The practical fallback chain is narrow. Run the Current Only search. Calling the detention center can confirm present custody, and a specific record request should go to the correct custodian. Use VINE for status changes. The county sheriff's records line is 859-873-3119. Any request should carry the full name. Add the date or date range, location, agency, and booking number if known.
Arrested by Versailles Police instead? A city records request may work better for an incident or arrest report. VPD serves Versailles, Midway, and all of Woodford County. A Midway request should name that arrangement. For someone recently released, try the Weekly Arrest Log page along with JailTracker Released. For a state-sentenced person, check KOOL, though it does not cover every fresh county arrest.
Third-party pages promise faster refresh. RecentlyBooked advertises a 30-day view with multiple refreshes, and Arrests.org shows date and time fields. Those are publisher features, not Woodford posting rules. Such sites may copy a row late, skip a booking, or keep an old record. Treat them as leads only. Verify every result with the originating office.
Why a Fresh Arrest Can Lag
The county-linked application is a dynamic, CAPTCHA-protected client. Public materials never quantify the gap between arrest, transport, booking, data entry, review, and public display. Release status can shift before a record ever becomes visible. A person may be transferred or released quickly. Some are held for another agency. Others are entered under a spelling variant or lawfully left off the public view.
No weekend or holiday rule exists on paper. Do not assume a late-night arrest appears by morning. The current roster answers one question. It tells whether a record is visible at the moment you check. It cannot rebuild every arrest inside a clock-defined period.
When a row does appear, save the check date and the record identifiers. Those details sharpen a later court search or written request. A missing photo is not proof that no photograph exists. The jail's own record page controls the official public image.
Arrested Is Not Guilty
An arrest starts a legal process rather than ending one. The Woodford County court record is where each case actually lives. There you can follow an amendment, plea, dismissal, acquittal, sentence, or any other outcome tied to the name, charge, or booking photo you started from.
The daily view covers current Woodford County custody only. It tells you who is booked into the jail, not how a case ends up in court.
Court questions go to the Woodford County Circuit Court Clerk at 859-873-3711. The clerk can also point you to the official Woodford Court of Justice information page. For a custody alert after an arrest, Kentucky VINE handles that part.
Same-Day Records Fallback
No current row showing? A written request is the fallback. The Woodford County Sheriff's Office wants a signed request listing your name, address, and phone, plus a specific description of the record sought, including the person, date, location, and agency. Ask for the nonexempt booking record or photo, request an electronic copy if one exists, and get a fee estimate first. The office posts no fixed booking-photo fee and no posting deadline. A Versailles Police report runs through the city clerk and the VPD route. Midway matters work the same way, since Versailles Police provides shared service there. Court results still belong to the Circuit Court Clerk. Each office holds one piece of the arrest trail. A daily search can never replace that chain.
